Instagram launches three (3) new features

You must have known Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram do have things in common right?; Mark.

If you’ve also been following keenly, you must have noted the many features now turning similarities, as shared within these (three) platforms, stories, chat, stickers, GIF, last seen?

Oh wait, Instagram which many of us know as the image and video social network will soon be adding three new but features that you’ll have already seen on sister apps: GIFs, stickers and “last time online.”

According to WABetaInfo, the number one paparazzi on WhatsApp and sisters, Instagram seems would be supporting GIFs from GIPHY (for Stories), Stickers and Last seen in Direct like WhatsApp (and other…)

Hmm.. seems Instagram will support GIFs from GIPHY (for Stories), Stickers and Last seen in Direct like WhatsApp (and other…).
WhatsApp has Status (Stories) and Stickers like Instagram.
WhatsApp and Instagram have very similar features.

Now here’s what could work or how

GIFs, perhaps will be available in Instagram Stories. This would be integrated and CTA* via the giphy search engine , which will be included in the app (as usual). Users would have to search for their choice GIF to include on stories.

Stickers will likely take after Facebook Messenger icons. These stickers may be used in direct messages and in comments on posts. And although IG has stickers in the stories, but they’re now getting a more extensive rollout.

“Last seen” surely is on DM, and Instagram users will now be able to see when their friends were last online.

Now if you ask me, I’d say these three platform are so giving everything it takes to drain our passion, energies and time on them peices!
